IBS FACULTY The IBS faculty brings a wealth of practical, free market business experience to IBS students. Instructors include professionals from the U.S., Great Britain, and other western countries working in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as local instructors who have been trained abroad. The IBS currently employs 51 faculty members, five of whom are highly qualified foreigners who work in Uzbekistan. Most IBS instructors received their degrees from American universities and work for foreign companies in addition to teaching at the IBS. IBS faculty members participate in different training programs organized by the British Council, IREX, ACCELS and EdNet (Educational Network) Academy. An integral part of the school's policy is student evaluation of instructors and courses. Students complete detailed course and instructor evaluation forms before their final exams. Results of the evaluation are used to help improve course design, and to help instructors improve their teaching methodology. IBS staff teachers
